“Nora” 2007 © Judson Rothschild – This armchair is artisan crafted in the Louis XVI style and is modeled after an 18th century “Duchesse Brisee.” It features layered antiqued brownstone-white finish with rubbed edges, square padded back, sides and loose cushion seat. The armchair’s downswept arms and straight seatrail has a carved flowerhead-filled entrelac, and sits on short turned tapering legs beaded by paterae.
